A former taxi driver from Northern Virginia who was on the FBI's list of most-wanted terrorists has been captured in Somalia.
Liban Mohamed, 29, is charged with providing material support to al Qaeda and the Somali-based group al Shabaab.
He worked as a taxi driver in the Alexandria section of Fairfax County and has lived in other Northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC.
The FBI believes Mohamed, who was born in Somalia but is a naturalised US citizen, left America in 2012.

It considered Mohamed's arrest a priority because of his knowledge of the nation's capital and its landmarks.
The man, currently in Somali custody, is one of about 30 people on the FBI's most-wanted list for terrorists.
The FBI has also described Mohamed as a "close associate" of Zachary Chesser, another Northern Virginia man who was sentenced to 25 years in prison for trying to join al Shabaab, an al Qaeda affiliate.
Chesser also made online threats against the creators of the South Park cartoon for an episode perceived as an insult to the prophet Mohammed.

Artiste Etcetera calls their wealth lies

Etcetera who recently called out popular rapper M.I, has come after other popular celebrities D'banj, Genevieve, Wizkid calling their show off wealth lies.

Artiste Etcetera who is popular for calling out celebrities from time to time and he is at it again.
He wrote again attacking Nigerian popstars D'banj, Wizkid, Genevieve Nnaji, Iyanya, Oritse Femi.
"Again, I’m going to go out on a limb here to talk on a subject that may not be very popular or nice to Nigerian celebs, especially the guilty ones. I have said it severally that just because someone is a celebrity doesn’t mean they are smart"

About D'banj: The residents of blogosphere boulevard were stunned when the news broke that D’banj got an eviction notice from his landlord and was also said to be highly indebted. Yes, it is hard to believe that someone of D’banj’s status could actually be thrown out of his house. But for those who knowthat the Nigerian entertainment industry is built on lies and more lies, it didn’t come as a surprise or a case of a cranky landlord. Entertainers are well rehearsed liars. They are not what they make you believe they are. Even the upcoming artist with just one song on radio issues a press release that they’ve bought a mansion in Lekki Phase One and a Range Sport SUV?
D'banj

About Iyanya: Did you hear it on breaking news when Iyanya bought a house in his dreams? His management must have thought it was a fantastic promo strategy then. If only they knew that not far into the future, Iyanya would be dragged by his balls across the floor of the internet, and that his aggrieved brother would take to twitter to inform everyone that Iyanya had been evicted (not from Project shame) from his dream mansion.
Iyanya

Wizkid: Like it was revealed this week that Wizkid’s car hasn’t been paid for.
True, some naija musicians make a lot of money, but not the kind of money they want you to believe.
Wizkid

Oritsefemi: Does he look the part of a N200m house owner even with all his body cream? Yes, it is double wahala for deadi-bodi and the owner of deadi-bodi but won’t it be tripple wahala for Oritsefemi and his management when fans eventually discovered that the N200m mansion he purportedly bought some months back was actually bought in his dreams and not in the real world?
Oritse Femi

Genevieve: I shivered when I saw in some blogs over the week that Genevieve just bought a house in Ghana for a whopping $4m. This will go down as the grandmother of all lies told so far. Genny baybay, you should have asked yourself if there’s any house worth $4m in the whole of Ghana, except you bought the Ghana National Theatre which by the way may not be worth $4m.
These lies are getting dumber by the day. The worst thing that can happen to any man is believing his own lies.

Tanzania albino killings to end, vows President Kikwete

Albino boys in Tanzania
Albinism affects around one in every 1,400 Tanzanians, far higher than average

Tanzania's President Jakaya Kikwete has vowed to end the killings of albinos, which he said had brought shame on the East African nation.
"I'm shocked and saddened at the sudden upsurge in these macabre killings," he is quoted as saying in a TV address.
Albino people, who lack pigment in their skin, have faced attacks for their body parts, which witchdoctors believe bring good luck and wealth.
The president said such beliefs were false and fuelled the "ongoing evil".

President Jakaya Kiwete
I believe with the close co-operation between the government and society, we will succeed in ending these killings of with albinism and rid our nation of this shame”
President Kikwete
The Tanzania Albinism Society (Tas) had planned to march to State House in Dar es Salaam on Monday to deliver a message to President Kikwete, but the police banned the demonstration, citing security reasons.
The president said he was ready to meet albino leaders and campaigners at a later date to discuss possible solutions to the killings.
Last month, an albino toddler was found dead with all his limbs hacked off and a young girl with albinism has been missing since December.
Witchdoctors banned The UN warned last year that attacks on albinos were on the rise ahead of elections later this year, with politicians turning to witchdoctors to improve their luck.
"It is a false belief that if someone has the body part of a person with albinism, this will bring success in business, fishing and mining activities. This is what has been fuelling this ongoing evil," Reuters news agency quoted President Kikwete as saying in his monthly national television address.
He said the government would continue its attempts to end the attacks as albinos should not live in fear.

Yesterday they were being cared for in the paediatric intensive care unit at the hospital.
Both of the now separated babies were reportedly doing very well.
The conjoined twins, who are from the Republic of Yemen, were taken to Saudi Arabia to be operated on at the King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh.

Tough: Surgeons carried out the nine-hour operation in nine stages
A hospital spokesperson said: "The bowels needed to be separated as well as their urinary systems and then the pelvic bones.
"When they were separated they were then divided into two teams to reconstruct the twins."
This separation is the 35th in a series of surgeries performed on conoined twins in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since 1990.
Saudi Arabia has a team of top surgeons who have treated 65 twins from 18 countries across the globe.
